School readiness therapy builds what a classroom asks of a child, such as following routines, communicating needs and working with peers, and our school-based therapists carry that work into partner schools across Greater St. Louis. The Maryland Heights clinic stops at age 7 and the South County clinic at 13. School-year planning should allow 2 to 4 weeks between the request and the first session, and insurance coverage needs an ASD diagnosis.
Clinic days at Maryland Heights and South County build the base before and alongside school. See center-based therapy.
