I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for six years, and my passion began while babysitting a young girl on the spectrum and wanting better ways to truly connect with and support her. Discovering ABA opened the door to meaningful, purpose-driven work focused on improving the lives of children and strengthening the families who love them.
My approach centers on connection over compliance. I believe children learn best when they feel heard, understood, and engaged, so I incorporate each child’s interests and play into therapy to create a positive and motivating environment. By understanding the function behind behaviors, I am able to teach appropriate alternatives that promote independence and lasting growth. I also enjoy problem-solving in the moment and being a supportive resource for both clients and team members.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing children independently use new skills beyond the clinic, especially when families share those proud, everyday victories. Watching progress carry over into daily life reminds me why I am so passionate about this field.
