With six years of experience in ABA, my passion for the field began while babysitting a young girl on the spectrum and wanting to find better ways to connect with her. Discovering ABA opened the door to meaningful work centered on improving the lives of children and supporting their families.
I believe in connection over compliance, engaging children through their preferences and play to help them feel heard, understood, and motivated to learn. I also focus on understanding the function of behavior, allowing me to teach appropriate alternatives and support lasting growth. I enjoy breaking down challenges in the moment and being a supportive resource for both clients and team members.
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing children independently use new skills with their families beyond the clinic.
