Nick Schwer M.A., BCBA, LBA (MO)

Clinical Supervisor

I have seven and a half years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, inspired by my younger sister’s experience with ABA therapy in the mid-1990s and the lasting impact it had on my family. Seeing how early intervention can create meaningful, long-term change motivates me to support other families on their journeys and provide the same hope and progress that shaped my own life.

I enjoy being part of each child’s growth, from building communication and social skills to fostering greater independence and confidence. My approach focuses on learning through play and real-life experiences, following each child’s interests to make therapy engaging and meaningful. I believe ABA is most effective when strategies are practiced consistently at home and integrated into everyday routines, and I value partnering closely with families to support that carryover.

Creating a calm, predictable, and respectful environment is important to me. I strive to ensure children feel safe, understood, and encouraged as they work toward their goals. Watching a child confidently use new skills in their daily life is the most rewarding part of my work.

Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and camping with my wife and three kids. I’m also a fan of comic books, video games, and Dungeons & Dragons. I’m known for being playful and silly — and I’ll happily make myself look a little foolish if it means bringing a smile to a child’s face.
